Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh is one of the 28 states, which is present in the central part of India. The state was initially a part of Madhya Pradesh, and by November 1, 2008, it was formed as a new state. Currently, the state has about 28 districts. The capital and largest city of the state is Naya Raipur. Other cities include Bhilai, Raipur, Durg, and Bilaspur.

Chhattisgarh shares borders with Orissa in the East, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh in the south, Jharkhand in North East, Maharashtra in the southwest, Madhya Pradesh in North West, and Uttar Pradesh in the North.
